I'm nearly vegetarian so I get a lot of my protein from eggs, dairy, nuts, etc. Most of those sources are high in fat. I find at the end of most days that my calorie intake falls easily within the range I'm given but my protein is at the very low end of the range and my fat is above the range. Could this be slowing down my weight loss? Any thoughts about how to reduce fat while getting enough protein if you don't eat meat? Thu, 21 Apr 2016 15:15:56 EST Veggie ??? They're on the top of every healthy and sustaining breakfast plan I find. They're the breakfast staple. But they make me sick. I have special circumstances that necessitate a lower calorie intake. I am 4'11 and use a wheelchair 90% of the time. I have little physical activity to balance out the calories. So this morning I decided to try to cut back on the calories and use sweetened vanilla almond milk instead of cream ( I use at least 3 tbsp. of cream) since it is lower in calories.
