| I wholeheartedly agree! Now i make sure that I TRY to remember to uncheck that box but have forgotten and been inundated before. Please make it that the box remains UNchecked unless we want to receive an email when someone repleies to the topic!

| Just chiming in to agree. A small annoyance, but I actually quit a team because I was innundated with email replies after I mistakenly left this box checked. Argghh!

I agree with you. When I started replying to messages I was getting all this email and now I have to click it off so I don't get any emails. They should leave it blank and if we want a response we should be the ones to click it on.

I wish more people would voice their opinion about this topic. I am certainly ready to accept if I am in the minority, but it would be interesting to find out!

| I guess I am the opposite, because I generally only respond to threads that I am interested in hearing more from the members on. If I would go in the Game Room I would uncheck the box, but otherwise I leave it and follow the conversation (for a while anyway).

"I want an email to be sent to me when anyone replies to this topic."
Just my thoughts, and opinion: I just realized how annoying it is to have to uncheck that request each time I post a message. I don't want a reply notice to each and every message I participate it!
Why does it have to default as positive?
I think it should be checked only when people WANT a response.
99.9% of the time, I don't want to hear back from my quick messages. Only when it is critical, I need help, or am trying to help someone, do I want to know if they have replied.
Thanks for listening! Naan
p.s. like this message for example, will probably be the first actual time that I really need to see the response, so I have left it checked. LOL
