| try snacking before supper so you aren't so hungry. i know one of my mom used to say, "don't eat that or you won't be hungry for supper!" well then i would just be starved by the time i would eat supper and eat way more than i should! healthy snacking before supper or even while you are cooking can help curb you appitite. if you're looking for a low-cal supper idea try bocca burgers or another one of their products they are SO filling but have a lot less than their alternatives. hope that helps!

Last night I just made the Shrimp Scampi recipe in the SP recipes--it was GREAT and nobody felt hungry after. (If there is more than one Shr. Scampi recipe, it's the one that uses lemon zest and dry vermouth.) I have to make dinners that my whole family will like--sometimes tough when I am trying to stay within my eating guidelines....

| Lately, I've been using recipes from kraftfoods.com and campbellssoup.com. I can replace the higher fat items (like cream soup and cheese) with lower fat varieties, and never miss the difference. In addition, if I make the dinner according to the recipe, it usually only makes 4 servings which make portion control easy in a house with 3 people. My husband usually has 2 servings of whatever I make, and my daughter and I only have 1. No matter what other side dish I make (baked potatoes, rice) I always have veggies which rounds out the meal nicely.

Hey everyone, i have been a member of sp for awhile now and although i have lost a few kilos here and there...i just cant seem to keep them off! ive been looking really closely at what ive been eating lately and have realised that nearly half my daily food intake comes from dinner! i know this is so bad because by that time of the day im about to go to bed with a full stomach...but dinner is just always so yummy. its my favourite meal of the day and on top of this i struggle so much to stop myself from having seconds..and often thirds!! any tips?? and what do you guys recommend for dinner which isnt as high cal as things like spag bol and homemade pies? thanks guys!
