Modifying others' recipes for use in meal plans?

Nevermind-- it looks like it gives you the option, per recipe, once you've finished adding the newly modified version to your recipe box.

I haven't really played with this part of the site yet, so please excuse me if the answer is obvious...

I've seen a handful of recipes that I would love to add to my meal plan -EXCEPT- they need a few changes. They're things I'm likely to eat often, so I want to have a way to save the "meal" for use in my planner so I'm not always adding individual ingredients separately all the time.

Is there a way to flag certain recipes as "not to be shared"? Or is it an all-or-nothing sort of deal? (I saw a generic sharing checkbox in the recipes account preferences.)

PS. The recipes I'm specifically looking at do not allow substitution or removal of ingredients once in the meal planner.
