I've tried that - - sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I don't know if its my computer, the program, or if I'm doing something wrong!

You can add the ingredients in just like you would if entering an item into the meal planner. It will pull from the same database as that. You do have to check the box at the bottom that says "Search for manually entered items" or something to that affect.

In attempting to calculate the info on a recipe, I tried to enter the ingredients used. These are ingredients that are either not on the site's food listing or, if there, the grams, etc. on the site differ from what my food containers say. I HAVE added the ingredients to my "favourites" section.
When trying to add an ingredient in the recipe calculator, I am only able to draw on ingredients that Spark has entered, not those in my "favourites" section. Needless to say, the calculations would thus be incorrect.
