Just a couple of things. First 1 day does not mean you have blown the rest of your life. Every day is a new opportunity to make better choices.
Next, think of this as a lifestyle change not a diet. You will learn to make choices that will last you a lifetime and not just for 1 year.
You can do this. I am well on my way. I have finally reached where you are starting from but I know that I will get where I want to go.

This is a great motivation! There are rewards on every step of this journey to self-mastery and you can do it! Deciding you will succeed is the first step and imho opinion the most important one. Replacing old habits with healthy new ones build a great foundation to a new you. Using the trackers every day for all you eat and all you exercise are wonderful tools to reach your goal. Post with your progress and questions, I will be here for you!

Hi, My name is Kathy. I am new to sparkpeople but so far I really enjoy the site. I am on a mission to lose 60 lbs. by March 2008. My stepdaughter has decided to get married at a BEACH RESORT. HELP!!!! I really had pure panic inside when I first heard of their plans. No more putting off this weight loss for me..this is it. I did good my first two weeks but yesterday we went on a bus trip to Philly to see the King Tut exhibit and I blew it. Back to business today.
