Me too!
Wow, 186 is a hard number to look at. I am only weighing in once a week. So Monday we'll see if my decreased cardio because of the past two week injury has hurt me???or if my diet alone is helping. I feel lighter. I hope we'll all keep with it!

| Hello Susan, I am new to this sight as well. I'm 53 and need to lose 35 lb. I started taking Alli today and am hoping that helps along with the low fat and low carb diet.

Welcome Susan. I'm relative new to Sparks and new to this board. I have found this site to be useful in tracking my food. Makes me so much more aware of exactly what I gobble down. I am also enjoying the members and appreicate all the advice and helpful hints I am begin to gather from them.

I am over 50 and really need to lose weight. I try and fail, try and fail, try and fail. Hey, if it takes me forever. I want to be healthier for me kids. I got started late with my kids. I am 51 and have a 14 year old son and a 17 year old son. I want to be around when I have grandchildren. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Hello Susan and Welcome,
This site has amazing resources and fabulous tracking tools. And all for free!  My man was supportive when I was losing weight but truly it was up to me to make the choices to reach my goal. We do have to do this for ourselves...and it is great to get support from this cyber community. Welcome aboard!

Hi everyone, I Just signed on today, and just found this over 50 forum. How does everyone like this site. It looks great. Think it may be just what I need as I really lack motivation, and don't have people around to push me. All my best friends are in a different town. Can take any hints and clues you can give. thanks
