I believe in taking a day off from dieting but only if I have something special planned, like a night out on the town with friends. It doesn't happen every week so I don't feel guilty.

I definately take time off from exercising. When I first started SP, I did a challenge where I exercised everyday for 2 weeks. By the end of the 2nd week I was burned out and so fatigued that I was down for a week and a half. Now to be sure I don't burn myself out again, I usually take it easy on Sundays. All I do is go for a leisurely walk and whatever chores I need to do.

In my opinion, everyone deserves a little break every now and then, sorta like a mini vacation from work. And it should be guilt-free.

I would be afraid to at this point. Afraid that eventually those days off would increase. Depending on what you do on your 'day off' you may not see the full beneit of what you are working for. I was surprised to fnd out how msny cals my favorite foods had. You will still need to 'make up' for your day off.

So far I am trying to adjust my portion sizes for my faorite things just so I dont feel deprived and eat a horse. Sure its coming though. Maybe sticking to the snaller portions a wwhile longer, my stomach won't be big enough to handle my usual meal at Cheddars.

Do you believe in taking a "Day off" each week to skip exercise and eat what you want? I've been doing it since I started my program (just a couple weeks ago) and each monday I feel like I've blown it because I each so much on my off day. If I work out and eat right the rest of the week I should still lose weight...but seems like it would go much faster if I didn't take an off day.
