So I started just little over a week ago I got on the scales and gained one pound trying to stick very close to the calorie intake and workout for 2.5 hours every other day. so what can I eat when I am hungry in between meals. unfortunately I will be on the road for the next 5 days eating out all of the time and not exercising the way I want to. I know I will gain weight over the weekend. But my main question is what can I eat in between meals? I am hungry but afraid to eat anything for fear of jeopardizing my goal. i am ready to start skipping meals. Discouraged. - 5/6/2015 10:16:43 AM

I lost 3lbs wow I'm surprised at myself, but I need to keep doing what I'm doing to keep a promise to myself that I am worthy, that I am someone I can grow to love again. I can be whatever I put my mind up to. I love myself, and I will continue to love myself. 3lbs is a start and now I must continue the good choices that has got me this far in 7days and beyond.... - 4/5/2015 9:55:28 AM

I was becoming frustrated with the lack of weight loss, even though I am following the program and exercising 3-4 times a week. I have increased my protein intake and this seems to be helping. - 3/11/2015 5:18:40 PM

I am new to blogging here as well as kind of new to sparks, I really love that if you eat the same things you can copy and paste to the next day. I just really started back to eating healthy and exercising I was doing it before but with my birthday and thanksgiving I just ate what I wanted to as usually I cook a really big meal only for thanksgiving and then get back focus. I exercise at home 4 days and then 2 days at the far so good, I am trying to reach my goal of 90 pounds lost by November 2015. each day is a new day and a new start. feeling great!!! good luck to everyone - 12/23/2014 12:28:02 PM

  • Hello. First of all I have to say that I have the best husband in whole world!! After weeks of trying to get my Tracker going, he came into the kitchen and attached it to my shoe and said, "You're in business!!" This is my 2nd Tracker. I lost the first one. I was doing so well with it, too, so I'm super excited to have this one working. Not sure if the problem was my computer or the tracker, but thank you, Wonderful Husband!! - 10/5/2014 11:08:04 AM
  • Hi, The Progresso Light Soups are excellent, have lots of flavor, and are VERY diet friendly. If you can't find them or feel that they are out of your budget, try amping up the Campbells with some dried herbs. See which ones are already in the soup and add some more of them as you heat it up. You'll have to taste it as you go to make sure you get it the way you want it, but it will be worth it.

An example from what happened to me, My husband and I love Sweet Potato Pie, being a diabetic I actually found a recipe in a Diabetic cookbook. The first time I made it, it was very bland. So the next time I just doubled the amounts of the spices,( such as nutmeg, cinnamon, etc. And it was perfect. Don't be scared or shy about using herbs and spices to make things more palatable, the only limit is your imagination and taste buds. - 8/21/2014 9:49:44 AM
  • Has anyone tried the Campbells heart healthy choice soups? I have and to me they do not have any flavor. Should I eat the regular soups or the health one and what can I do to add flavor to the soups?

  • I would cut back some. The 3.5 pounds you lost is usually (politely) a system flush (detox) reaction. The added fiber or the flesh of the fruit and the vegetables are causing the gas and cramps. Two pieces of wheat bread will help ease the cramps. You might also pace yourself on the exercises and allow your body time to adjust to them. After the water weight initial loss you will lose a little slower. Most people lose about 1 to 2 pounds a week as muscle adds weight, but helps burn more fat and adds tone to your body shape.

Pace yourself, weight loss takes time and perseverance. Warm up before exercising and don't overdo it. Injuries are easy until you learn to listen to your body (the stomach cramps), take your time. Be nice to yourself and keep going.

Pace yourself. Set a goal and chip away at it. Share your successes with others, even those small ones.
