  • I found myself agreeing with each point, not surprising. On a good note, just got a check up and all tests were good. I would attribute exercise to the good news, great stress reliever. - 8/18/2014 5:55:05 AM
  • Like other comments on here, I meet each characteristic on this list. I know this about myself. My question is where is the article to help manage these personality characteristics. By the nature of who we are, a lot of us most likely work in high-demand/high-stress environments. Deep breathing is great, it is, but what else can we do- cognitively speaking- to manage this? Thanks!! - 8/14/2014 8:27:09 AM
  • Umm, Great, now I know for certain that I have a high stress personality. I'm not sure why I would have read this article if I didn't suspect that already. Is there going to be a follow up article to help me with these feelings? Yeah, I know I need to change, but knowing how is what I was looking for in this article. - 5/29/2014 9:45:21 AM

Okay, we've seen the list of symptoms. So where's the list of cures? What good is listing symptoms if there's no followup list for how to reduce or eliminate these symptoms? Sites like this one all seem to be the same; they're very good at identifying problems but lacking in assistance to overcome them - unless they're peddling a "miracle cure" to make themselves rich.

  • I am terrible I display so many of these traits and with my kids I never have a chance to relax with some of my favs like yoga or walks because I have to do them with my kids - 4/30/2014 4:22:40 PM
  • Only #6 for me. Not to bad. I'm not a stresser by nature. Outside influences over long periods of time build up for me. - 4/12/2014 10:40:20 AM

    10. Compulsion to overwork. Is your office more familiar to you than your backyard? = Yep! That's me lol - 11/13/2013 11:42:25 PM
  • Ho does 'relax time' help? It only makes me more antsy... Unless I'm already relaxed which defies the point.
Does anyone have some better ideas about destressing (beside controlling it, I do that already, it's way I'm not raving mad all of the time:))

  • Guess it's not good that those actually apply to me... Or that I think my friends would recognise me if they read those as a description... Does it help if I've been that way since high school? - 8/2/2013 1:34:25 AM
  • I seem to be in no danger here... - 7/1/2013 11:45:07 PM
  • Um, this is me. To a T. I am working on it though! - 3/29/2013 12:04:36 PM

  • Usually a good book and a bath for me.

Unfortunately I see myself having lots of those characteristics! I don't even work outside the home and I have huge problems with these things. - 11/12/2012 5:30:36 PM
