How Many Have You Tried?

Well, I've never come close to eating any of these particular foods in my entire life. I have however, made poor food choice and done so willingly and knowingly.

Nutritional information for these foods, is freely and widely available. Many people simply choose not to educate themselves or having educated themselves decided they will eat it anyway.

The companies that provide this food do so in response to consumer demand. I have yet to hear that a person was held at gunpoint by a Starbucks' barista and forced to consume a Venti Mocha Frappucino. If consumers start demanding healthier choices the companies will change their menu items.

But why only focus on restaurant/fast food? Most people eat food purchased at a grocery store and prepared at home. A person can buy a frozen deep dish double crust pizza with 4 types of cheese and 3 types of meat in the freezer section of any grocery store that could definitely hold its own against the Pizza Hut pizza listed here.

In fact, I could buy all the ingredients for the foods listed and prepare dishes at home that are WORSE nutrition-wise than anything listed here.

Educate people, get them to truly care about their health and choices will change. This in turn will change what people order at restaurants or buy at the grocery store and will alter what foods or meals companies offer. - 3/31/2008 12:16:51 AM

Thank you for that info. We love to drive thru, it's quick, cheap and ohhh sooo fatening! Thank you for showing us the results of our laziness. We need to see more truth in our eating habits. Yep, I'm guilty of the Starbucks. But No More! Thanks, - 3/29/2008 5:37:43 PM
  • I've never eaten any of those, I'm happy to say! I think they're disgusting. Now if I only could make bread and potatoes less fattening... :) - 3/29/2008 8:54:56 AM
  • I'm a BIG fan of the Frappucino, but usually go for a Tall and have been working on skipping the Whip. Also, it's only an occasional treat. OCCASIONAL treats are good for the soul! - 3/28/2008 9:57:44 PM
  • WOW! Talk about eye-opener! People don't realize how many calories and fat they are getting when they eat some of these things! And who ever eats one slice of pizza? I usually average two when I have it! - 3/28/2008 3:27:16 PM
  • Whoa such things like that exisit? That is just disgusting. No wonder so much of the world is overweight x.X - 3/28/2008 2:16:31 AM
  • I've never heard of these items except for the Wendy's burger. Maybe in Canada we either don't have these restaurants or the menu items (Thank God!) - 3/27/2008 11:56:49 PM

I confess to having ORDERED the extreme Grand Slam but never eating it.
All the dead animal goes into a bag for the dogs and my two adult male children finish off whatever is left after I eat an egg and some of the hash browns. - 3/27/2008 5:50:32 PM

  • Thank the Good Lord above, I have NEVER eaten any of those things!! I am so grateful that I don't like fast food, never have. I guess I'm old fashioned that way. However, cake was not on the list. he he he - 3/27/2008 1:41:25 PM
  • ... so that's why I gained so much weight when I worked at Denny's. I knew there was a reason I hated that chain!!! - 3/27/2008 1:18:55 PM
  • I'm not tempted by any of them, I dont think. If Chipotle were on there (which it should be), then I'd start drooling. - 3/27/2008 12:47:32 PM
  • I had one Pzone. I lusted after the double deep pizza, but never indulged. Pizza is definitely my weak spot!! - 3/27/2008 12:46:56 PM
  • I've had the chicken bowl a few times, and once Pizone, but that's it! - 3/27/2008 12:44:58 PM
