you see it wrong. it's not about PUSHING them, but motivating and supporting them in their decisions! I'm pretty sure these people wanted it themselves, and are just hard on themselves early on, and their parents just have their back.. - 7/8/2014 8:07:26 AM
  • Wonderful blog. I couldn't push my children that hard that early but it worked for them. The main thing is for the children to know their parents are there for them no matter what. - 2/28/2014 7:40:19 AM

Yikes, I didn't cry, I cringed. We start and pressure our kids WAY TOO YOUNG! Seeing children going to rehab, and knowing those injuries can effect them until the end is pretty sad. Congrats to the kids that make the olympics, but kudos to other parents for giving support and not pushing their kids who just want to be active and have fun. - 2/9/2014 1:27:26 PM

Well if you mean trial an error yes, however, I am neither a young babe nor a pro athlete so falling down physically is not an option for me. Actually , as we age we need to learn not to fall... I do understand the lesson here. And yes we must always teach and encourage others that some times we may fail for the moment, we must NEVER EVER GIVE UP especially on our dreams.. :D - 1/27/2014 10:10:22 PM
