What they aren't showing and one of the MAIN reasons people gain weight is the calories from drinks such as milk, juice and soda or coffee with lots of cream & sugar that most people spent all day drinking rather than plain water. Studies have shown that people who drink diet soda will eat more calories at a meal.
They should do a follow-up video showing not just single foods adding up to 2000 calories but normal daily meals adding up to 2000 calories, including breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, to show the side-by-side comparison of how much you could eat of 'this' vs. how little you'd have to eat of 'that'. And show how what has become a "normal American diet" can run you out of calories by 11am if you aren't careful!
