  • Poor dog, but I laugh every time I watch this - 7/21/2017 7:34:36 PM
  • i own a Staffordshire terrier (aka pit bull). She is a highly trained animal so that she can be a wonderful family member, confident, able to have self control, etc. Part of her training was and continues to be putting a piece of her favorite food (roasted chicken) on her plate and telling her to 'leave it' until i tell her she is allowed to have it. If someone is doing it for laughs, i agree it is wrong. But if someone has a dog that society generally says is a dangerous breed, then that dog must behave better than other dogs so that the dog has an opportunity to be part of the societal change. LEAVE IT has to be part of her daily .... around the cats, i tell her LEAVE IT if she gets 'that look' in her eyes. And she leaves them. I'm all for it when it's to help create a safe and happy environment for family and pets alike. But not as entertainment. - 5/25/2017 9:00:30 AM
  • Hmmm, wonder how a person would feel if someone waved a delicious smelling food in front of their face and then spoke harshly to them to stay away from it? I question this video. I understand the point being made but I think it's mean. - 5/12/2017 12:44:36 PM
  • You all don't understand the meaning of the picture. It shows us that we should have that much willpower as the dog. - 3/10/2017 12:04:21 PM
  • I agree with the others that found this more sad than funny. Poor dog. That look of distress on his face; if he was accustomed to getting some treat after something like this, he'd not look like that. :( - 1/16/2017 12:43:47 PM
  • There's nothing funny or inspiring about this! What a horrible thing for a human to do to an animal in hir care! Tormenting a poor dog for our amusement, cruel! - 12/21/2016 7:20:13 AM
  • I'm sorry, but to hold a plate of cupcakes in front of a dog, then order him to leave them is just cruel to my mind. Whether he was ultimately given one is immaterial. - 12/17/2016 3:47:54 AM
  • Poor dog!And very cruel owners! - 9/2/2016 4:53:58 AM

    I wish I had that dog's will power! I've lost 40 lbs. I have 40 more to go & I'll never get it off. Have a Wonderful & Blessed Wednesday! - 3/16/2016 10:16:10 PM
This is a great video to show us how to have will power! And it shows us how will power works. My way of having will power is not having cupcakes in the house. It works for me!
    Have a Fabulous Friday! - 1/29/2016 11:27:33 AM
  • too cute! poor pooch! - 1/28/2016 7:58:55 PM
  • our border collie can have food, including cupcakes, in front of him, and not touch it - he just about asks permission. he knows that people food is not his food. there would be no need to use an ominous voice with him, he knows the drill:-) - 12/25/2015 6:38:44 AM
