Boston Baked Beans (Chef Meg's Makeover)
Submitted By: CHEF_MEG

Chef Meg revamped this popular bean recipe to make it a slow-cooker dish. Soak your beans overnight, turn them low at lunchtime, and by 6 p.m. you'll have a tasty, fiber-rich side dish. Omit the bacon to make these vegetarian.

This is a great side dish for backyard barbecues!

If you are trying to reduce the sugar in your diet, substitute brown sugar Splenda. If you like your beans less sweet, use less sugar. Full Recipe
