Celeriac roots with the smoothest skin to ease peeling and slicing.

Avoid:
celeriac roots that have more ridges than others.

Seasonality: All year; peak season is winter.

Storing Celeriac

Celeriac root should be wrapped in plastic and can be stored in the refrigerator up to 7 days.

Trim leaves (if present) and the root end. Scrub well and cut off the skin to remove any brown pieces and the root channels in the base. Drop cut pieces in water with a squeeze of lemon juice to prevent discoloration.
