Motivational Quote - Man's mind stretched to a new idea never goes back to its original dimensions.
SparkPeople Translation
There are times in our lives when we come upon something that is an improvement over what it used to be. Say a better job, perhaps a different boyfriend/girlfriend, or just a new system of getting work done. However, we may be compelled to stay in the same place we are because it’s comfortable and what we are used to. But will you ever be able to forget about the new and improved job or system? Probably not, because your mind has been exposed to this thought and it’s not that easy to let it go. It can be hard, but sometimes in life we have to let go of the old ways to move forward. It’s okay to feel bad for leaving the old way behind, just remember the reason you left it behind – because you found something better.

Chef Meg's Cheesy Grilled Banana Peppers
Submitted By: CHEF_MEG

Cheese. Bacon. Tomatoes. Yum!
Chef Meg finds a slightly more sophisticated version of the hot pepper poppers found on appetizer menus everywhere. Her version uses mild banana peppers, creamy Gouda cheese, a bit of bacon for a smoky richness, and tomatoes to offer a bit of freshness. She grills them to add another layer of flavor to the dish.

Serve these as an appetizer or unexpected side dish at your next barbecue!

Chef Meg uses panko, or Japanese breadcrumbs in this recipe. You can substitute whatever breadcrumbs you have on hand. Full Recipe
