When I get hungrier I go for cucumbers and celery straight up, ok I put the cucumbers in water and vinegar, and the celery in plain water. Yes I love my salt. I am going to try the tuna dish. Thanks for all the great food dishes. Shirley

I have never bought goat cheese. What brand is best to buy?

These are great suggestions!

Just tried the edamame and loved it (frozen pack I got had microwave instructions, came out fantastic).

I agree goat cheese is great with tomato, in the summer our favorite snack is zucchini rollups with goat cheese in the middle, try it sometime (slice zucchini long way, thicker than mandoline but thin enough to roll. Spray oil, lightly brown under broiler both sides or use grill pan, spread a little goat cheese on one side and roll up). Yummy.

The string cheese and marinara sauce sounds great and only 95 calories. I'm also going to try the goat cheese recipe as I've just discovered how yummy it is.

Thinking of the 15 baked corn chips with salsa I count out chips, pop corn or whatever, and create my own portion control "snack paks" for the car since I am usually running from one place to another when I get the snack attack cravings. Trader Joe's has chips with flax in them (which is very healthy). I also count out their rice crackers - I think 30 makes 100 calories.

I agree that the melted goat cheese on tomatoe can be amazing. Try sprinkling a little oregano or fresh basil on the tomatoe for added kick! Thanks for jump starting our brains towards gret healthy snack ideas!

I tried the toast one with goat cheese....it is AMAZING! I absolutely LOVE cheese and have only recently discovered how yummy goat cheese is and now I'm obssessed with it. I had some in the fridge but was reluctant to open it because I didn't think it was very "diet friendly". Low and behold, there it is in a recipe! YUM!
