Definitely gonna do the banana and nut butter suggestion and I usually eat a few pieces of dark chocolate or like FREEAL suggested I do also do the hard candies, my favorite is the Werther's Original's. I also think it is totally okay to have the fat free or sugar free version if you think about what it's replacing it would be the better choice.

The only way to stop sugar cravings is to stop eating sugar.

If you stop eating sugar and other simple starches, after a few days the sugar cravings will go away.

Might not quell your "sweet craving".... but to eat a hard cooked egg...might quell the hunger and help you to resist eating the sweet stuff.. It helps me.

My best method is to eat an individually-wrapped small hard candy like "Nips". Some of these are chocolate flavor. They satisfy the sweet tooth but take long enough to eat to help get past the desire to eat more.
