Quell Your 3 p.m. Sweet Tooth

It's 3 p.m and you're craving something sweet. There's a box of doughnuts in the office kitchen, and a bag of cookies in the pantry. What do you do? How can you satisfy your sweet tooth without going overboard on fat and calories? Try one of these dozen sweet treats instead!

Berry Nutty

Mix 2 Tbsp pistachios with 2 Tbsp dried cranberries.

S-marvelous Smore

Break 1 sheet of graham crackers in half. Top with 1 jumbo marshmallow and 1 dark chocolate kiss. Heat in microwave for a few seconds until melted and gooey.

An Old Favorite

Toast 1 slice whole-wheat bread. Spread on 1 Tbsp peanut butter and 1 Tbsp all-fruit spread.

Slice 1 medium banana down the middle and fill with 1 Tbsp cashew butter (or other nut butter, such as peanut butter). Dust with cinnamon.

I have tried the plain Greek yogurt with honey & cinnamon. My fav snack !

That is true stay away from sugar and the cravings will go away. I have food sensitivity and most of these won't work for me. Gluten, nuts, soy and eggs. So have to be careful I do like the greek yogurt and honey one. I use greek yogurt and my own granola mix and let it sit for awhile so the yogurt takes in the flavours when I get a sweet craving. Try water first when a craving hits they say most times it is you are thirsty. Teri

I was expecting some ways to avoid snacks / healthy snacks e.g. get up and walk around for 5 minutes, or a handful of berries or something!

Definitely gonna do the banana and nut butter suggestion and I usually eat a few pieces of dark chocolate or like FREEAL suggested I do also do the hard candies, my favorite is the Werther's Original's. I also think it is totally okay to have the fat free or sugar free version if you think about what it's replacing it would be the better choice.
