Quell Your 3 p.m. Sweet Tooth

Mix 2 Tbsp pistachios with 2 Tbsp dried cranberries.

Break 1 sheet of graham crackers in half. Top with 1 jumbo marshmallow and 1 dark chocolate kiss. Heat in microwave for a few seconds until melted and gooey.

I've found that a fruity herbal tea does the trick for me. Most of the article's suggestions involve actually eating some type of sugar, which doesn't work for me at all — makes cravings worse!

That is true stay away from sugar and the cravings will go away. I have food sensitivity and most of these won't work for me. Gluten, nuts, soy and eggs. So have to be careful I do like the greek yogurt and honey one. I use greek yogurt and my own granola mix and let it sit for awhile so the yogurt takes in the flavours when I get a sweet craving. Try water first when a craving hits they say most times it is you are thirsty. Teri

I was expecting some ways to avoid snacks / healthy snacks e.g. get up and walk around for 5 minutes, or a handful of berries or something!
