Like others here, I do wish the pictures reflected the actual portions and true calorie count. I don't think SparkPeople is doing us a favor with pictures in slideshows and recipes that exaggerate the amount of food we can get . The fact is that a lot of us got where we are because we over-estimated portion size, and we need to re-educate ourselves!

The celery and peanut butter idea is great BUT 1 tablespoon could NEVER work with 5 ribs celery. The picture showed a small piece of celery and probably the whole tablespoon of peanut butter.
Could the pictures please be realistic!

LOVE cottage cheese and fruit. Larger portions than are shown here are sometimes a breakfast or lunch for me.

I have discovered that adding a teaspoon of unsweetened cacao powder to my sweetened low-fat fruit yogurt is delicious. I especially like cacao added to raspberry greek yogurt.

I know it's been said a couple times, but the pictures would be much more useful if they actually showed the right serving sizes. I mean let's face it, if any of use were really good and portion control, we'd probably not be on sparkpeople right now. And I don't think it's even physically possible to put one tablespoon of peanut butter on 5 ribs of celery. And who eats half an apple? The other half turns brown unless you fruitfresh/lemon juice it. And try finding a medium apple. I can get smaller one from a farmers market, but the honey crisps at the grocery store are 3x apples. Anyway, I just get annoyed at articles who make it seem like you are getting so much and then are ridiculously unpractical. I'd much rather have "actually possible snacks" under 200 or 300 calories.

On another note, does anyone have a good way of measuring nut butters. It's impossible to get it back out of my measuring spoons.

I would like to add another wonderful snack, called Ready Snack Go. 90 calories each. Really great for satisfying hunger.

I get heartburn when I eat any dairy products and almost all of these items had dairy in some form except for the celery and peanut butter. It would be nice to see more examples that don't include dairy.

These look awesome BUT, sugar free usually means Aspartame. I will also agree that we need SOME fat to take in.
