Try these super tasty ways to prepare your favorite protein-packed food!

Delightful Dips

Puree cottage cheese with fresh herbs, garlic, or shallots for a healthier chip dip. (It's great with veggies or whole-wheat crackers, too!)

Stuffed Squash

Made the primavera and the cottage balled up into one mass, not sure why but it did taste good, however it was not filling and I even added some polish sausage to it. I would have felt more satisfied if I had eaten a cup of cottage cheese by itself.

One of my favorite breakfasts is 1/4 cup cottage cheese on a toasted Eggo waffle (chocolate chip, blueberry, or strawberry) with a few blueberries on top or a tablespoon of sugar free strawberry jam.

I attempted The butternut squash one for lunch this afternoon, I was leery with out a recipe but I did it anyway. The flavors didn't mesh very well. Or at least what I had didn't I wasn't sure how to use the eggs and breadcrumbs so I left that out. Maybe that was where my problem lay. If anyone has this recipe or finds it I would love to give it ago. Otherwise I think the basic general directions leave a lot to be desired.

**I did check the sparkrecipes and google it with no luck.

I like cottage cheese, but have to limit how often I can have it. Way to much sodium.
