I have to concur with previous comments. For people just beginning their journey, this work out, even with the modifications is very challenging. I am glad it was only 10 minutes or I would have quit. Yes, we need to be challenged to reap the benefit, but when the challenge even modified is very difficult to reach you become discourage and give up. Many of us give up which is why we are where we are. I did not find this workout inspiring at all. Won't do again.
Please call this advanced. I've done a fair bit of Pilates, but I had to dumb this down, and even so, in the second half, my lower back did not feel good.

I could have done this 35 years ago, but with a bad back, 2 replaced knees and weight to lose, I had no intentions of hurting the back. I'd appreciate more chair exercises or some devised that would help with the core, but not overly discourage my efforts. I'd really appreciate some exercises more geared to people with health issues. I suspect that a lot of Sparkers would appreciate it.
Hope someone on SP reads these comments. The negative outweigh the positive about 10-1.
I agree with many on here that this workout did seem a little out of place in the 28-day challenge. The difficulty level was much harder. I was able to complete the workout with modifications (and probably some bad form), but core work is where I am most challenged anyway, so I never look forward to core day. lol.
Hey, Spark People! Will you read the comments that say over & over that this is too hard, there's nothing beginning about it, and people get demoralized trying to follow these skinny & flexible dancers. PLEASE remove these horrible barre exercises from challenges intended for less than advanced exercisers?!

This video was rather intense. I will do chair core exercises. Everyone enjoy this cold day
On the 28 day Challenge, this was the only workout I found IMPOSSIBLE to do even when trying to modify the "modified" version. I so want to see those ladies strap on 50-100 pounds of weight (with corresponding girth) and do these exercises.

This was harder than difficult. A person would have to be in supreme physical shape, not to mention younger than 35. Why is it included in a challenge that is basically "moderate" with all other days? I would feel like I failed if I hadn't done other core work for the same amount of time.
