video was ok. Not so good for us with larger chests. I would say the work-out itself to be closer to intermediate. Bethany's little comments get kinda annoying.....I usually enjoy her on tv, but I suppose not so much when I'm working out.
Wow this was an amazing beginner workout. My back has been killing me for days and I needed something to stretch it and my knees and legs. this is a great beginner version. Quick and easy and stretches everything. Thanks
Both their commentary is silly to me. Like, some of the instruction is all right. But when he squats down and says "I like to look at my stomach like I'm judging it" is ... well, it's not great obviously. Maybe that works for some folks, but when I exercise I'm loving myself, not judging myself. Bethanny was easily ignorable. I'll probably listen to this video again, for the moves, but also to give myself a laugh at her comments and some of his.
I thought this was a good quick yoga workout. I have been doing yoga for 3 years 1-2x a week. The instructor was great, but as with the other commenters, I wish Bethenny would have kept silent or there was a Bethenny mute option! Her comments were unnecessary, distracting and annoying. They definitely took away from the video and my relaxation. I will not be buying the video!
Yes, some of the moves, especially at the beginning are basic yoga. but this is not a basic work out - it is hard. I have been doing yoga on and off for over 20 years, and I can do this. I would love to have Bethny edited out. I do not think I could watch this video again, her looks, comments, etc get on my nerves. So is there a way you can just have the instructor - he was great. Also people who are new to yoga and/or have not done it before can risk injury if they try the more advanced moves without someone watching them to make sure they are executing the moves correctly and are aligned properly.
