This is exactly what I've been needing to add to my exercise repertoire! The video got "stuck" the first time but played straight thru on the next try. Having now done a bit of research on it, I'll almost certainly be getting a qigong dvd asap. Thanks!

I have several problems with this video.

There is no way I can stand in one position for that long. The strain on my back would be unbelievable. Even singing in a concert, I'm shifting my weight.

The breathing is second nature for me. Every musician is plays a wind instrument or sings know how to breathe properly. We're taught that from day one.

Just focusing on the breath as I move my arms toward the earth on the edge of my chair.

I've used this video as a nightly ritual before retiring for the last 8 months. I rarely miss a night without it's relaxing and soothing movements. A great introduction to meditation too!

I am just recovering from a bad attack of sciatica, 3 weeks I could not walk and was in horrible pain. I can not stand to do these, but did them from my chair and really felt positive about them. I am adding them to my daily work out.

I have Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (extremely debilitating). These exercises are wonderful, painless, and motivate me to move.

I injured my shoulder a few years ago and these types of exercises were the only thing that helped my shoulder. I can now lift it over my head. It also is the best for resting the mind. I'd forgotten how much I loved them.
