this was the perfect seated workout. got my heart rate up, enjoyed it and did not hurt my ankles and back

This is a great seated workout! I am stuck at my desk all day on Sundays and so I need something to still get my exercise in. I pair this one with the "9 Minute Seated Upper Body Workout" video. I usually walk around the building and use the stairwells during the week, but Sunday always gets neglected lol Thanks SparkPeople for this perfect workout!

I am still recovering from my knee replacements. This workout was great!!
Wow! Woke up yesterday with an ailing ankle (it happens out of the blue from when I fell down steps and sprained both ankles 9 years ago... and a pediatrician acquaintance told me this will happen most likely for the rest of my life... lots of icing and taking it easy). But signed up for the January Jumpstart... I could have started next week but wanted to keep today and was happy to find this exercise... I was able to move but no weight on the ankle! Yay!

I am surprised how much my heart rate went up. I have a torn meniscus and this is perfect.
Just got through with the seated cardio exercise. Have to get back in the game. Haven't exercised in a year.

I want to know if you can buy the seated workouts to see them on the tv screen. I have spinal stenosis and spondylolisthesis which makes it hard to walk, but I do find exercises to lessen the pain but don't find a lot of them. I believe the seated exercises will work.
l know I have arthritis, but didn't know how bad it could hurt trying to do these chair sitting exercises. Also, need to lose 85 or more pounds. That extra weight isn't helping at all. I'm either going to have to find something else, or keep going with this one until I get it done to my satisfaction.
Through trail and error I have found that at 56 I am incredibly out of shape and have knee and one hip issues. Everything I've tried for exercise I've either fumble through, because I can't walk and chew gum at the same time or it's hurt parts of my body. It has been very discouraging and has set me back quit a bit. I just found and accomplished the 11 minute seated cardio and have had to really accept my limitations, scale it back and be satisfied with what I CAN do. I've done a full circle here. I'm back to 10 minutes on my treadmill to warm up for stretching and one sitting cardio video a day and will move slowly up from there. It's a start.
