Setting the tone for the day

Before I rejoined Sparkpeople, the first thing I would do when I woke up while drinking my coffee was to go on Facebook. Now I log onto Sparkpeople, set my goals, enter my food and exercise for the day. Then all I have to do is follow through and stay on track and I know exactly how I did in advance!

Put the day's menu in SP in advance

I stick to my diet much easier when I input the day's menu at the start of the day and then follow it.

Friend Feed

I follow my Spark Friends' Feed on my Smartphone. It is so much easier to see where I left off. Be sure to "like" their feed and leave encouraging comments. It's nice to know someone cares.

Not Anti Social

Staying On Target

A secret for success in my life regarding health and fitness has been the use of SparkPeople as a way of connecting with others, throughout the world, who are in the same boat as I. This community of supportive believers in good health through diet and exercise has been for me a well-house of information, support and great conversation. I have been able to connect with people who have the same interests as I and who support me and encourage me in my diet and exercise goals.

I use the SparkSummary Calendar found in My Trackers; Reports; Weights and Other Reports; My SparkSummary Calendar to notice trends in eating and exercise. If I don't lose as much as I think I should I look at my patterns to determine how I can adjust for even more success! emoticon
