Cravings

what I do to avoid cravings is I keep mini charleton chews in the freezer or mini tootie rolls, they are not to bad in cals an fat and because they are frozen, they take longer to chew.

Use the Sparkpeople App for iPhone, iPod, etc.

This is a perfect tool to keep track of your food, water, fitness, etc. I can add in what I'm eating, before I put one bite in my mouth, my workout after I'm finished, each ounce of H20 downed, etc. It keeps me from missing a beat :)

Exercise Buddy

Having an exercise buddy has been essential to my success! We depend on each other to show up and motivate each other on our "off" days. We keep each other on track and celebrate our successes too! I doubt I would have gotten this far without her! emoticon

Gulp, Gulp - Getting 8 Glasses of Water a Day!

At first, drinking 8 glasses of water might seem to be a daunting task. I've found that by adding a few drops of lime or lemon juice, I enjoy drinking my water! Also, if you use 32 oz water bottles, you drink two a day and you've met your 8 glasses!

listen to audio books

I like to keep my brain busy when I exercise, and music just isn't enough of a distraction. I listen to audio books on my ipod instead!

sneak in some strength training

. I don't like taking a lot of time at once to do strength exercises, so I do it a little bit at a time during the day. Every time I go to the bathroom at work I do 15 wall push ups. Every time I wake up the stairs I do 15 calf raises

sleep in your gym clothes

When I have trouble getting up in the morning to exercise, I will sleep in my gym clothes the night before. One less step between waking up and working out!
