I always want to snack at work. Vending, snack shack, whatever. But I've found that if I sit for even 3 minutes and just write whatever comes to mind, never stopping, I get over the "hunger" for snacking faster.
I planned ahead for the week and tried to stay on track. On Friday i went out with the girls and consumed alcohol and a few high calorie snacks. Needless to say when i weighed myself on Sunday i had lost 3 pounds.
So don't beat up yourself when you have strayed a little.
If you've eliminated foods while losing because you fear you can't stop eating, reintroduce them in a safe place. If chocolate pie is your favorite nemesis, have a piece at a restaurant. It is unlikely you will order a second one!
No matter what comes always think outside the box. As long as you are in the box, you will never see what is on the other side. I learned to not eat at my desk, but every twenty minutes get up and walk around the desk or to the water fountain. My desk (box) should not be my mantle, but my footstool.
Chronic headaches are a symptom of dehydration. Just another reason to get your 8 glasses a day. :)
Find something every day that you can be proud of that doesn't involve the number on the scale. What's better today than it was a week ago? A month ago?? A year ago???

Tough time deciding? I make a list. Pros on one side, cons on the other. It helps me decide when I see the reasons on paper and one column out weighs the other.
