Have a plan.

We talk about doing it, want to do it, dream about it- so why don't we? Plan it out, commit to it and do it. Keep it simple and short. No lying to yourself with excuses and dates. Do not let yourself go adrift with figuring it out as you go.

Dogs are great walking buddies!!!

I have four dogs so I am NOT allowed to sit on the couch without getting their walks in. This is a great way to keep me motivated because some days I simply would not get up and exercise if I didn't have to. Looking at their longing faces makes me want to get up and get out there!!!!

Personal Time

Rather than think of exercise as one of those extra things you have to do, think of scheduling it as "Me time." Forget about all that stress, and just enjoy your work out. Once you do, you'll find yourself missing that time for yourself. emoticon

Herbs are the best helper

I do not use salt, I use herbs in almost everything I cook, rosemary under the steak on the grill, mint in the zucchini, cinnamon in the coffee. Try yourself and find your favorites. emoticon

eat a larger lunch

I eat a larger lunch instead of dinner. I then can have a light dinner and feel more like walking afterwards. I don't feel so sluggish or tired.
