Exercisetv.tv has numerous workouts you can purchase and many free ones at full length. When its free why not get fit. The exercise bike is also a good way to strengthen your legs and help with joint pain.
I never let traffic bother me, but recently I started taking a class in mind and body healing and one of the things we have to do is listen to mediations on a CD. Now I keep the CD in the car and when people start honking, I just listen to the relaxing voice on my CD.
I found out that I really needed a goal in order to add Strength training to my routine. I set a goal of being able to do a real pushup and then I made a plan to reach that goal. I found having a goal to reach for really made it easier for me to add ST.
I use this when I get "exercise" of being outside doing yard work, or going for walks. I load up my MP3 player with free audio books and listen to them as I work. Makes the time fly! I use www.audiovox.org for those books.
Get adequate sleep. Eat a healthy diet. Get plenty of exercise. Wash your hands frequently. Keep your environment clean. Avoid sick people. Don't smoke or be around it. Use stress relieving techniques. Drink plenty of water. Take some time to rest. Get immunizations. Have close friends.
I recently went through a funk, and didn't have the spark I'd started with 5 mos. ago. I thought this was a feeling that would return on it's own. THEN, I realized that determination is not a FEELING that comes over me, it's a DECISION! Once I consciously decided to just DO IT, well, here I am!
Yesterday was to be one of my heavy work out days, but I was at home getting things done and didn't want to leave. I almost called my work out buddy husband and said "Let's skip it". I rethought the situation, got dressed and walked the two blocks to the gym. Afterwards I felt great!!!
