My Secret

I get my workout in first thing in the morning, that way if I get too emoticon busy to another later that day, I've got it in first; not to mention I feel recharged afterward.

First thing

Instead of reaching for coffee I go my office to start with my spark coaching program, drink 16 ounces of clean water, do my planning and journaling for the day, then jump on my muscle machine and do 50 reps. I also do my prayers and devotional study. Takes me the same amount of time as making and waiting for coffee to brew. If I have time I make coffee but rarely need the jolt.

even when I don't feel like it

I find that if I start to exercise, even if I don't feel like it...It only takes a few minutes to start feeling better.

Snacks at the ready.

I keep a small tray of measured snacks in the fridge for those moments when "I just have to eat!" Right now I have a bag with a few carrots and celery sticks, 2 bags of walnuts (1/4 cup each), and 2 packages of roast beef (2 oz each). I found some mini bagels at 100 calories each and have cheese sticks on hand. This is keeping me sane, somewhat!! emoticon

A little more walking

I usually park a little farther from the store so I have to walk more steps going in and coming out.

Secrets of Success

I joined a martial arts class to do something different. The group of people are all there for different reasons, but everyone cheers on everyone else making it fun to push yourself further than you thought you could go.

Adding a few more steps

I try to park as far away as I can from the store when I go shopping.
