Save some money

I've been using dish towels to wipe up spills and dry may hands in the kitchen instead of paper towels. When soiled, just toss wash with weekly wash. Saves money and the environment.

steam cleaner

I invested in a shark steam cleaner and it sanitzies everything. It's effective and leaves everything smelling nice. Trust me, if it broke, I'd be buying another one.
It gets into areas where your hand cannot.
It has a squeege for windows, works great. emoticon

Fridge

Before I go grocery shopping, I clean the fridge and then I create a left over shelf. I try to group everything together. lunch ideas, dairy, beverages. For the most part my idea works except when I have made more then I planned and have to use the space.

Baking Soda & Dish Soap

The best degreaser/scrubber is baking soda and Dawn dishwashing liquid and a hot wet wash cloth . It will make your sink/stove/oven shine, it has no smell and costs just about nothing! This combo is also great to clean walls and is MUCH cheaper than Mr. Clean eraser!

Window Cleaning part 2

Cleaning windows with vinegar added is a great idea- but did you know using newspaper not only prevents waste (paper towel waste or water waste from having to wash cloth towels- the newspaper remains recyclable!) but the windows are streak-free!

Quickie Garbage Can Re-lining

I keep a stash of garbage can liners (a dozen or so- refilling as necessary) in the bottom of my garbage can under the open bag currently in use. That way, whenever the bag is full, I just tie it shut, lift it out, and reach down to the bottom to get a fresh one, and immediately re-line the can.
