Do you have a household or general life tip to share?
Cleaning windows with vinegar added is a great idea- but did you know using newspaper not only prevents waste (paper towel waste or water waste from having to wash cloth towels- the newspaper remains recyclable!) but the windows are streak-free!
I fold my clothes while I'm sitting on a stability ball. It's good for the core muscles.
Did you know that mixing white distilled vinegar in a bucket of water will clean all your windows and anything else that is glass and won't leave those ugly streaks? Plus it's a natural product two.
Pick a day when all in the family will be home--divide up the chores, crank the radio, make it fun! Spring cleaning gets done & everyone helps out!!
I keep a stash of garbage can liners (a dozen or so- refilling as necessary) in the bottom of my garbage can under the open bag currently in use. That way, whenever the bag is full, I just tie it shut, lift it out, and reach down to the bottom to get a fresh one, and immediately re-line the can.
I have doors closed on rooms so no one can see. not enough energy to clean.
By accident, I started leaving bottles of water around my home. I wash & refill them every night before I go to bed & have one at my bedside at night. I know how much I've drunk each day by how much is left in each. This way, water's always at hand.
If I wear something for just a little while and don't want to throw it in the laundry, I hang the hanger backwards in my closet. Then, I can tell that piece of clothing didn't just come out of the laundry, but it is still clean enough to wear.
I use the plastic tops from margarine tubs and the like as coasters for items in my pantry and bathroom. The plastic coasters will keep drips from syrup bottles, bathroom cleaners, etc from staining the shelf and they are easy to rinse off!
