I recycle the foaming soap dispensers from bath and body works. I use dr. bronner's castille soap in the old soap dispenser (THE FOAMING TYPE OF DISPENSER) and I dilute the soap with mostly water.... say 1 part soap and six parts water. This is a very economical soap and smells great.
I use white vinager to clean just about everything. I keep a spray bottle with 1/2 vinager and 1/2 water. I use it to wash windows, floors, bathrooms, laundry, and carpet stains. it is a great sanitizer and deodorizer. the vinager smell will go away. Baking soda and vinager help clean drains.
When I make soups and spaghetti sauce and Chili I make extra and freeze them in freezer bags. After they are frozen you can stand them up or leave them lying down. I also do this with fruit when it is on sale. I can have fruit year round.
The best way to clean to mix it up. Use the step stool and instead of a bucket of water, go up and down the steps to rinse a dirty cloth. Don' t be afraid to get on your hands and knees and stretch to the back of the cupboard. Reach for the stars and get any stray cobwebs too! Enjoy the result.
I heard a quote the other day.... "Failing to prepare is preparing to fail."
