After washing dishes, there's always extra water on the counter, so I use a paper towel to clean it up then wash the rest of the counters with it. This prevents me from turning on the faucet and waiting for it to get hot/cold and wasting the water just so I can wash the counters.
Using a magic eraser to clean the tub takes a lot of the elbow work out of removing the residue. Magic Erasers are perfect for almost all household scrubbing, but I have found them particularly helpful when trying to get water spot, residue or rust stains removed from the tub/shower.
When my dorm room gets out of control and quite a bit messy, putting on good tunes while I clean makes me more inclined to not only just clean, but more inclined to dance while I clean, which adds some cardio to my day, and makes cleaning fun!

Baking soda can be used in copious ways, bought in large amt, not harmful to humans, pets, environment. Whitens teeth, a rise in your wash, a deodorizer, make play clay for kids. The list is endless. Look up recipes on line, buy it in bulk. Be surprised how much money you can save.
