Baking soda can be used in copious ways, bought in large amt, not harmful to humans, pets, environment. Whitens teeth, a rise in your wash, a deodorizer, make play clay for kids. The list is endless. Look up recipes on line, buy it in bulk. Be surprised how much money you can save.
Ants hate the smell of cinnamon. If ants are invading your house, sprinkling cinnamon where they are coming in does a good job of getting them to go somewhere else and not bother you anymore.
If you have a spider or flying insect problem around your house, orange spray - or orange oil will get rid of them and keep them away. You can find orange oil at your local home improvement store.
I've added as one of my goals to walk upstairs a total of ten times a day. I never went unless I had a reason. Now I consciously count the times I go up. I don't count going down.
While cleaning up I always try and find an excerise I can do while doing chores. Washing dishes "leg lifts", Dusting, "lunges", washing clothes "running in place", hanging up clothes on the line "squats"...See how many you can come up with while cleanercising.
I do lunges and squats and walk in place while sorting, folding and doing laundry, I walk in place while doing the dishes. When I walk the dogs, we play soccer as well...Border Collies can never get enough activity! I also take the stairs twice when doing chores! It all adds up!!

Natural peanut butter doesn't contain added oils, but it does require regular stirring, especially when you first buy it. That can be messy and difficult. So each time I buy a new jar, I store it in my pantry upside down until I'm ready to use it. That mixes the oil better for easier stirring!
