Vinegar and Baking Soda Cleans Everything

I used vinegar and baking soda to clean just about everything in my house. I keep the vinegar in a spray bottle to use as needed. It's cheap, healthy, and leaves my house smelling clean.

Laundry workout

Busy working mom finding steps and sweat where I can! I try to make up "games" to challenge myself and to change things up.

I usually use our dining room table as a clothes folding station and all bedrooms are upstairs. So I fold 10 pieces of laundry at a time, whatever my hand touches first (socks don't count). After folding 10 pieces, I put each persons clothes away separately. For every 10 pieces I may do the stairs 5 times! emoticon

Take the stairs down

We live on the 21st floor of a high-rise - the elevator down takes 40 seconds; taking the stairs is only 2 minutes and sneaks in a few more steps - better than standing still :)

Sparkling electric stoves

After moving in my electric stove was nasty..it was caky and really grimy.
I have found my favorite way to clean my stove... you have to keep up on it and wipe and wash it down after every use..
Wash down with dawn dish soap and sprinkle baking soda on it... use a scraper or a blade to get the really bad crusty stuff off... I use a spray bottle of ammonia, vinegar and water (even parts and its what I use as a glass cleaner) and then I will spray that down... wipe down and clean.

FAVORITE CLEANER FOR ELECTRONICS AND GLASS

I have found my ultimate way to clean glass...
I use a squeegee and coffee filters ( as paper towels) they are stronger and they last longer!
I use plain vinegar half and half in a spray bottle..
For my electronics. computers, I will use a fine mist spray bottle spray on a cloth and I will use half rubbing alcohol (first aid dept) and half water..

CAMP FIRE STARTERS! Dryer Lint and paper toilet holders

LOVE camp fires and home fires and smores.. We have started recycling toilet paper rolls and the lint from the dryer...
We stuff the lint into the cardboard paper towel holder and then put it in a grocery plastic bag for storage.. when it gets full we store it with the firewood and our camping supplies.. We always stuff at least two in the fire with our kindling to start fires.. Its like steel wool, flamable and it works great, plus who would have known to recycle dryer lint for flint starters?

Getting a groove on.

All those chores around the house are a drag. I crank the music and dance while I work and when my niece is visiting, she dances alongside. It burns calories and makes household chores a whole lot more fun!

fridge access vs. craft access

I love crafting and eating but the only thing that is super easy to get to is my fridge. I am going to make my crafting stuff as easy to get to as the food in my fridge. If it was realistic I would store the crafting stuff in there instead of the food. emoticon
