Freshly ground coffee is an excellent deodorizer. Try leaving it on a plate in the fridge or any area that smells badly - you will be amazed how it clears out the smell. It is very effective to leave in a car that has had milk spilled in it - believe me _ i know :)
When I find I have tons to do and can't figure out where to start at home, I grab my handy kitchen timer (or use the timer on my cell phone) and clean in each room for 10 minutes. You would be amazed by how much you accomplish! Take a 10 minute (timed!) break after 30 minutes or so and keep going.
Whether you have oil marks, hard water deposits, or stubborn food...just pour in some vinegar and let set for 5 minutes. Your stains will either disappear or come off with a soft cloth. I just rinse with fresh water and dry right away when done. No scrubbing required!!!
If you get ink on clothing, soak the stain in whole milk or 1/2 n1/2 - yes, it needs the fat content - the ink will come out after an hour or so. True story! (I put the milk in a saucer, and drape the stained part in it so that the entire garment does not have to be soaked in milk!)
Add a handful of uncooked rice to your coffee grinder and grind away. The chopped rice cleans out the stuck coffee grounds, oils and absorbs stale odors. Afterward, throw away the rice and wipe the grinder clean.
