Find something in your house that you don't clean on a regular basis, like lampshades, cabinet tops or doors, washing walls, etc., and put on some music and clean and sing your way to remove your stress. Sing loud and clean hard, and you'll be stress free and will have accomplished something good at the same time.
The cotton that comes in vitamins or medications is a good thing to save. For example if you run out of cotton balls or never buy them the cotton from the medicines or vitamins is great for removing nail polish when you are doing your fingernails or toenails. It isn't wasted this way.

If you have scissors that are not cutting good. Here is a trick that I learned with aluminum foil. Fold a piece of aluminum fold in half a few time to make a square. Then starting at one edge, take the scissors and start cutting the foil a few times. It sharpens dull scissors really nicely.
When I'm folding laundry, I turn the TV onto an upbeat music channel and blast the volume (I usually only do this when home alone!). I find myself dancing to the music and moving the whole time I'm folding, not just standing in one spot! Instead of folding lots of piles on our bed, then putting them away, I put etch item away as I fold/hang up items to keep moving!
