Back in the 70's, my husband and I managed Weight Loss Clinics around the US and parts of Canada. Our Medical Weight Loss clinics were based on Dr. Simeons HCG plan. Breaking a plateau was done by eating ONLY apples for 2 days, on the 3rd day you eat apples until dinner when you added a boneless, skinless chicken breast. The apples should be peeled as the skin is too hard to digest on this regime. Remember to drink at least 6-8 glass's of water. You must be in good health for this regime.
1. For just one day, drop down to 500 calories. (Day before and day after would be normal intake.) This got me unstuck after two weeks of no change. (500 calories a day should never be standard fare)
Drink your water don't sip on it all day and THINK you are getting in enough. Also you may need to get in more than 64 oz a day to lose. I have to drink 120oz or more in a day to lose. It gets easy with time. I use to gag on it but now I don't mind so much.
