Learn to recognized when you are down and find little ways to turn your attitude around. By keeping postive, I find it easier to stay on track.
I keep a bag packed with things to do when I am caught waiting unexpectedly. My bag includes a book, manicure kit, pad & paper, mending, etc. I keep it handy to grab on my way out. I'm never caught with nothing to occupy my time and I can accomplish tasks when I would otherwise be wasting time.
This is exercise + budget. My company allows free beverages, free fruit and free yogurt at the shared cafe. If I walk down there, I get exercise coming & going (hills!) and free healthy stuff!
If we do not mind things, it will not change anything. Mind things and it will matter.

It's good to have a meaningful cause to fight for--and walk for. I walk for Multiple Sclerosis awareness, as my grandmother suffered from the disease. I get others involved--great exercise and a noble pursuit.

Idea I learned to spray my cutting board and counter with white vinegar and let it dry.
There's no better motivation than a smile. You can make a dog smile and get in some much needed active minutes by just hooking on that leash and taking off! They need the activity too and if your dog is an active breed it gives them a job and alleviates boredom. Plus, you watch...they'll smile!
