I won't lie, I love sweets. Moderation is key for me!! The old me would have eaten 10 cookies at a time, now I have 1 after dinner maybe 1 or 2 days a week IF I really feel like I want one and I am satisfied. I don't deprive myself. This keeps me from over-indulging.
I went shopping today at the only store in town that carries my favorite sweet tooth addiction.....I took my adult daughter with me......the motive was for her to help me be strong...Support is such a strong implement in anything that you do, including squashing bad habits to make room for new ones.
Our recycling company wants the plastics and can rinsed out, but I find it a huge waste of water to rinse out some items. So instead I fill the container with water and let it sit-then it usually just needs a quick swish to be rinsed out well enough.
I found that putting a bar of soap, between my sheet and mattress, at the foot of the bed helps me to relax my legs when they start twitching. All that I do, is, touch the soap with my foot. This automatically stops the restlessness. I would recommend it.
