Since I started in January, my greatest motivation for me while running has been the great tunes on my iPod! I have bought the xtreme cardio cd's and also a few others from nike for planning for your first 10k. I find that this music really pumps me up and keeps me going strong!!
I have always talked bad about how fat I was or am. But I always made it a joke and even laughed when others made a joke about it. But now I have more tools to my benefit so I can now speak of how it really does hurt instead of laughing along with others.
Last night I was stopped by a police officer. While searching for my registration, I placed my a small corner of my driver's license in mouth. The officer was angry that I did that and asked that I wiped the license before giving it to him. So, don't place your license in your mouth.

most people come home with some degree of stress @ the end of their day. I've found that it is just as important to destress from your day as it is to breathe. My way is to watch my aquarium for 20 minutes without any outside interference and spa music playing - very effective!
I think the key for me is being honest with myself about everything. Not just what I eat or how much water I drink or how much exercise I do, but also how much am I WILLING to do to change my life. In other words, walking my talk.
