Recovery/Rest days are important to prevent burn out and allow your muscles to rebuild. However, rest day does not mean sit on the couch and do nothing! Take the dog for a walk, throw the ball with your kid, take a hike, anything to move everyday.
Before I do anything of a day I log on and start with Spark People. This organizes my day for exercise, food and water. I never feel lost in my goals. I always feel I am heading in the right direction. Thanks for helping me find the road to success to a healthier life.
The secret is" It takes two to have a conflict, and only one to end it". There is always some truth in the issue that created the conflict, however great or small it may be . Learning to accept the truth is hard and part of the secret.
I find that when I avoid wine, I lose weight. It's not rocket science. After a couple glasses of wine, I eat unhealthy foods or too much food. I usually have wine on weekends, but then I find that all my week long efforts and weight loss are squashed by my weekend antics. Not worth it.
