Pick something that you need to work on a start a Spark Streak, it really does work! I started a walking streak and am now up to 85 consecutive days of walking. My streak has gotten so big there's no way I want to end it!

FINDING YOUR LIMITING FACTORS

We all have things inside us that drive us to do what we do. We should look inside and try to find those things that are limiting us from succeeding with our goals.

8 8 ouncers

I NEVER thought I would be able to drink ALL that water. I NEVER drank water. I drank lots of diet pop.

So I started adding ice to keep it cold like soda and then I started sipping it through a straw. (It goes fast & saves lipstick.)
It worked like magic: 1 soda in 11 months!

Have a plan.

We talk about doing it, want to do it, dream about it- so why don't we? Plan it out, commit to it and do it. Keep it simple and short. No lying to yourself with excuses and dates. Do not let yourself go adrift with figuring it out as you go.

Distractions

Shinny objects just don't work on dogs and kids! Many of us eat when we need comfort for a variety of reasons stressed, angry, tired and many others. Identify the issue and acknowledge it so you can own it. Have a "distraction" ready to help distract you from the issue once identified.

Have Fun!

By watching the Biggest Loser or seeing others struggle and hate what they are doing is no way to live. May take some trial and error but have fun and appreciate that you are doing.

Baby Steps

Do not do it all at once. Build and take baby steps. Start with sleeping more, drinking 8 cups a day and making sure you eat breakfast lunch and dinner. Build upon it and add new things every week or two as you feel comfortable.

Make small changes, one or two at a time

Don't try to overhaul your entire life in one day. Choose a new plan or two every week until your lifestyle slowly becomes healthy. Choose simple things first, like drinking 8 cups of water, but then work up to bigger changes, like running 2 miles every other morning! It really works! emoticon
