How do you stay motivated and find inspiration to stick with your program?
When the going gets tough, you gotta dig a little deeper!!!
MY MOTIVATION COMES FROM GOD,MY FAMILY,MY FRIENDS FROM CHURCH AND FROM MY SPARK FRIENDS.
I know this goes against what everyone says, but I wake up in the morning, use the bathroom, then weigh myself. I know the number is going to fluctuate, but it keeps me accountable!
We all have our moments when we do not feel like exercising. When I have those moments I always say, "just do 10 minutes and that's all". By time the 10 minutes are up, I am motivated to continue. When you are done, congratulate yourself for a job well done.
Raising our flag, honoring those who keep us free and honoring our dead with prayers and flowers on their graves. To me that's what Memorial Day is all about. If we do that first before we go out to the lake or the park, we'll feel better about ourselves....at least I will.
Celebrate each victory, no matter how small. those of us who have so much weight to loose and it will take year to drop, we need to celebrate each victory , like tieing our shoes, walking up steps, fitting in a booth....each small change is one more step to your goal...it can be done....I know it ca
Be thankful its the weekend
Whenever I feel like giving up and begin thinking that I will never reach my goal I just have to remember that good things sometimes takes time and lots (and lots) of patience. Eventually I will see that number on the scale and I will feel good knowing I did that by and for myself.
The more you support others with help, advice and attention, the more you reinforce positive attitudes and behaviours in yourself. Be a friend. To them.. and you!
