Water Water Every Hour

I purchased a 4 cup mug with a straw.
Each day I have a "contest" with myself.
I try to empty the mug by Noon...then refill it.
I try to empty the mug by 3:00...then refill it at home.
I try to empty the mug by 10:00...voila...12 cups of water in for the day!

Staying on Track...Even at a Restaurant

When you're going to a restaurant, pull up the menu and plan your meal AHEAD of schedule. When you get to the restaurant, decline a menu. When the waitperson takes orders, give yours first and excuse yourself to the restroom to wash your hands while others are ordering to avoid changing your order.

Water

Drink lots of water. I found that if I drink water when I think that I am hungry , that it takes care of my hunger thoughts.

Goal = Healthy Lifestyle NOT Weight loss

Bob Harper from the Biggest Loser said, "There is no finish line . . ." This really hit the nail on the head for me. That is when I realized that weight loss wasn't my goal, a healthy lifestyle was my goal. Point is, when you reach your "goal" weight you can't just stop there.

Find a Friend

getting enough sleep!

I just don't eat well, exercise or even have a very positive attitude if I don't get enough sleep. I force myself to get into bed by nine so i can read (Currently working on The Spark)
