I hate a sore throat. You know the kind where you can't even swallow? Well I found a remedy that is both remarkably dependable and remarkably gross! Take about a cup of lukewarm water and add a tablespoon of cayenne pepper. Mix with spoon. Then gargle with it every 15 minutes.

I have a 44 ounce insulated mini cooler. First thing in the morning I fill it up with water and lots of iceand then again after lunch. It keeps the water cold and is more convienent than running upstairs 8-10 times a day! Makes sure I get my water in and keeps it cold all day!
I use tall, slim glasses instead of the shorter glasses. These look nice, hold the same or less liquid, and give you a sense of drinking more of your favorite beverage. They also slow down your drinking. You will have less of a tendency to "wash down" your food this way.
Meditating relaxes my mind and my body. After 30 minutes of stillness I feel great. Better than any massage.
