Track & Plan Food in Advance

When I track my food daily and stay in the budget; I also take a few minutes end of day to track out the 'next day'. This keeps me positive w/ my food, my choices, and I plan a weekly menu as well ..........It all helps to be organized and stay on track day to day! emoticon It is worth the time!

Protect My Heart

Chatty Cathy

When I bike on my indoor cycle I listen to super upbeat music. When my momentum really gets going and I am in the zone I yell out positive affirmations, such as: "I am good enough." "I deserve great health." "I love myself." "I can do this." "I love to sweat." It really pumps me up and I feel great. My dogs must think I am crazy. LOL, LOL

Worry List

When people around me start to emphasize the negative, especially about things they can do nothing about, I'll stop the cycle by saying "I'll put that on my list of things to worry about." It helps put whatever it is into perspective, and lets me focus on whatever is more important to me.

Think beyond weight loss.

If your not happy it is not all about the weight, get to know yourself while losing weight. Think about how you got here and what you want to change. You will realise that when you think about it weight is not the only thing that you want to change. Try to concur your fears and you will feel like you can do anything, which includes losing weight!

Be kind to self

Once upon a time, I would speak harshly to myself. When looking in the mirror or when making a not so wise food choice. Now, I don't judge my looks, and if I happen to goof by say, eating a donut treat someone brought to the office, I simply do better by working out or eating a few extra fresh veggies at the next meal. It has helped me become a more relaxed individual, and I can enjoy and live more in the moment. emoticon
