Create a Wish Box

Decorate a box and put all of your wishes and prayers in it. Be as specific as possible. For example instead of "I want to lose weight." Change it to: "I am at my desired weight goal." Put all of your health goals and wishes in it. "I love the taste of fruits and veggies." You can be as creative as you want to, and use affirmation statements as if they have already came true. Review your wish box daily and have faith, you may be surprised how you're inspired to make your wishes a reality.

Permission to Relax

I find that a cup of tea rejuvenates me and gives me permission to relax. It is during my "tea time" that I think of all the things I am grateful for.

Be kind to yourself.

I learned to stop criticizing myself. I wouldn't say such cruel things to anyone else. So, why say it to myself?
You are doing something to improve yourself. Give yourself due credit and pat yourself on the back. This type of self talk reminds you that what you're doing is something positive and keeps you moving forward.

MAKE A PLAN AND STICK WITH IT, Don't focus on the Big Picture!

It is hard to stay motivated when life itself can throw negative trials your way. Such as the scale tipping upwards, job related issues, family problems, and such...... when you are trying your best to loose weight and stay focused on a healthy life-style it doesn't take much to throw you off kilter! Don't allow this steal from what you have already accomplished!

Make a change...

Don't focus on making giant life changes.... Focus on making a small change. Small changes will lead up to changing a life.

Melt away

I envision the fat just melting off my body. . . My face is getting slimmer, etc. I tell myself very day how much stronger I am getting. Because I speak positive to myself through out the day when I am faced with a temptation I can walk away. . . Smiling.

Failure is a four letter word

Failures do not exist. What we call a failure is but a lesson learned and a step taken to a better us. Without these failures we would never be able to learn from these mistakes and make ourselves better in the long run.
