Motivation and positive thinking comes from within. You can accomplish pretty much anything you set your mind to. Just the fact that you think you can do something will help you get it done!
There will be times when you will feel discouraged. Be prepared for that. Tonight, I want you to make a list of all the reasons why you deserve this - and include every worthy thing you've ever done - and then carry that list with you to remind you to treat yourself lovingly.
In the morning, when I get out of bed, I look out the window and am consciously thankful for another day. At night, as I slide under the covers, I am consciously thankful to have had another day.
Today Dr appointment and best friend took me which was great to see her. GD with us and we had a lovely lunch after and also a very heavy rain for about an hour which we needed. At the Dr's even though I am feeling great she was not happy with the test and I have to go back next month. I'm smiling.
I am not going to disqualify my victories by saying "but" anymore - as in "I got a bike workout done today, BUT it was only two miles". I did the workout...enough said - Celebrate the victory!
I'm a big believer that your receive what you give out. If your are negative, it attracts negative people, behaviours and situations around you. On the other hand, if your attitude is positive, it will attract positive people, behaviours and situations around you. You choose your attitude!
Went bowling, had fun and lost all the games and didn't make my average once. Can't win them all and someone has to hold up the bottom of the list. have a beautiful week and smile.
I find that if I am feeling a bit discouraged, a sure way to change my mood is to stop by random spark pages and leave an encouraging comment or a spark goodie -
I found a link to a site that encourages making a list of 101 things you'd like to do over the course of 1001 days (just short of 3 yrs). It gives lots of ideas to work from and some of the things were perfect for me and my health/fitness goals as well as travel, family etc. Check it out!
