How do you achieve and maintain a positive outlook?
Remember that long journeys start with little steps. I am happy to complete a little goal & make it a lasting habit at this time in my life.

To change your lifestyle, you must change your habits. You'll only get a different result when you do something different.
Keep music on in the background all day. Switch to different types according to your mood and activities. Music has a calming effect that really impacts the quality of the day in many positive ways.
I tend to get so mad at myself for being larger than my fiancÚ, weighing more than him and not being as toned as he is. But then he reminds me of all the other things he loves about me, and all that matters is that our love is strong and that we are healthy
I find that I sometimes get too wrapped up in how much weight I need to lose, and end up getting down about myself. I find that I do better with not only weight loss, but also with self confidence and overall happiness, if I remind myself everyday of something I love about myself.
Have to stay positive
Each member of the family shares 5 good things about their day at dinner time each day. This heops each one to become better centered and positive in attitude. It is a way to connect when you have ageand background differences. It also helps relaxation and the enjooyment of others over food.
Just smile.... or hummm, through the stress:)
When I start to feel bad about myself, I remind myself that there are others who are struggling with their weight just like I am. I then think of what I would say to a person who was feeling bad and write it down.When I read it back, it is like I just gave myself a pep talk! I'm so smart!
