Reaching out to my Spark Friends can totally change my attitude. When I'm having a rough time, I leave positive messages on their pages, blogs and feeds, and before you know it, I'm feeling great! Not only that, but I give them a boost to their day, too.
I'm trying to eat more meatless meals but I need help being creative. I go to stores like Whole Foods or markets that make some great salads and sides with beans and sample. I buy a small portion and if I like it I get creative and make my own version.
I found that if I expect perfection in exercise, nutrition, how much water I consume, or whatever my goal is I tend to blow the whole day if I slip up or make a wrong food choice. Expect that some days will be better than others and keep moving forward!
I have NO control over the tons of thoughts that pop in my head. I DO have control over which ones I "invite in to sit and stay a while". When the thoughts in my head are negative, I say "thanks for sharing" and turn my back on them: they are not my "friends" with whom I want to share mind time.
I do not phone, email, text, etc. family and people having a stressful time.
One thing I have learned here on Sparks is that I am WORTH it! No matter what anyone has told me or I heard someone say that was negative I always tell myself I AM WORTH IT! No matter what it takes I am going to get healthy. Tell yourself this everyday. Be Positive!
