MAKE A PLAN AND STICK WITH IT, Don't focus on the Big Picture!

It is hard to stay motivated when life itself can throw negative trials your way. Such as the scale tipping upwards, job related issues, family problems, and such...... when you are trying your best to loose weight and stay focused on a healthy life-style it doesn't take much to throw you off kilter! Don't allow this steal from what you have already accomplished!

Weigh on Friday morning

I stay in my calorie range more often during the week than on the weekends. I find it helps me stay motivated to weigh myself only on Friday morning. I feel upbeat knowing I've had a good streak of days being on track, and it helps keep from being too overindulgent over the weekend.

BEAUTIFUL DAY

Today was absolutely beautiful for Mother's Day. I visited my girlfriend and came home early because she had to go some where. Worked outside for awhile and then fed the dogs. Called my girls and did some inside house cleaning. Good day, work, exercise, children and friends, what could be better. Love life, live and be happy. emoticon emoticon

a new habit

When it all gets too much and there is so much to change and it's all about choices...I try to pick one habit that is kicking my butt and change it. One example is at work I traded water for the candy on people's desks...lost four pounds! emoticon

Melt away

I envision the fat just melting off my body. . . My face is getting slimmer, etc. I tell myself very day how much stronger I am getting. Because I speak positive to myself through out the day when I am faced with a temptation I can walk away. . . Smiling.

do all this for you and you alone. stop saying you are not worth it or do it because someone else thinks you should or makes fun of you. you matter and need to want to better yourself because thats where your heart is at, at this point in your life. you will be so much happier and lighter feeling along the journey and just happier with yourself.

I find that when I smile at people, it makes them feel better. Even the grumpiest of people will start to smile if you smile at them and make an effort to listen to what they have to say.

When I could SEE the vision of what certain foods did to my body..health..results, I knew I needed to change my eating habits.
Every time I want to go back to the "old ways"...I picture the truth and think what the outcome will be and that stops me from going back to the unhealthy lifestyle and continue my day by day...meal by meal..step by step that I have committed to..I am IN IT TO WIN IT!!
