Be patient with yourself. Changing the way you live your life takes time and energy. It won't happen overnight. Give your self some time to make tiny adjustments first and celebrate each success while keeping your eyes on the goals you have set for yourself.
Show a positive attitude, give positive reinforcement, show appreciation for others, and watch your environment start living up to your expectations. People do respond. A little patience and kindness is contagious. A positive attitude gives off: energy, enthusiasm, good will, and health. Not only will you feel like doing more, others around you will want to help you.

Every day is a NEW day! The best proverb is "Fall down 7 times, stand up 8." Remember that no matter what each day brings, success, or failure, the next day is a new opportunity to begin again! Don't beat yourself, but celebrate new beginnings!
When I am in a stressful situation, I stop what I am doing. Then I take several deep breaths. After that I Think of positive ways to deal with the problem. Then I choose one of those ways and change the problem to an action of success.
Maybe it sounds counter-intuitive, but when I'm feeling useless and depressed, I will make an effort to help someone else. Often it's on a message board here or a huddle. If someone posts "I need support", I will email them and tell them how important they are and how much they have already accomplished. I always feel better afterward.
