Just remember that one day of overeating won't set you back far if you so something about it as soon as you can.
When I start to have negative thoughts, it usually leads to feeling depressed - the best way to change those thoughts is to write 12 things on a Gratitude List - even if some of them seem trivial, like "I'm grateful I have soap," or tinged with negativity, like "only gained 20 lbs instead of 30," it still works like a magic cure! After all, a lot of people DON'T have soap or DID gain more than I did and it helps to put things into perspective. Maybe my life isn't so bad after all ;-)
