Progress, not perfection

Remember, two steps forward and one step back is still one step forward. As long as you keep moving forward, you're winning. No one is perfect -- forgive yourself, learn from your experience, and soldier onward.
Progress, not perfection!

Love your body! The body you have now, could be someone elses goal!

There are people who would love to be under 300lbs, 250, 200 etc. Before putting yourself down for not being where you want to be, remember there is someone struggling to get where you are now. Stay positive and learn to love every stage, and plateau.

Great Advice From an Unusual Source

"Promise me you will always remember:
You're BRAVER than you believe,
and STRONGER than you seem,
and SMARTER than you think."

Christopher Robin said this to Winnie-the-Pooh, written by A. A. Milne in 1926!! Still true today.
This helps me when I feel overwhelmed, or just plain tired. emoticon

... justifying...

I read this post on Facebook and thought it deserved to be shared.

I figured out why I'm fat ! The shampoo I use in the shower that runs down my body says for "Extra volume and body". I'm going to start using Dawn dish soap; it says "dissolves fat that is otherwise difficult to remove

." emoticon

Log it anyway!

Even when I eat off plan, and think that I have totally messed up my calorie count for the day, I still carrying on tracking & logging my food. It usually isn't as bad as I think, and I've only gone a couple of hundred calories over. It helps me remember that I don't need to blow a whole day/week/lifetime over one donut!

Living Deliberately

I take time each day to sit quietly for a few minutes...10 at least, and practice gratitude for any positive conditions, successes, etc. in my life, so that I will not be forced into panic or depression by any perceived failures or shortfalls in moving toward my goals.

Life

Laugh when you can...
Apologize when you should...
Let go of what you can't change...
Love deeply and forgive quickly...
Take chances and give your everything...
Life is too short to be anything but happy...
You have to take the good with the bad...
Love what you have...
Always remember what you had...
Forgive... but don't forget...
And always remember that life goes on.

One day at a time

Just take one day at a time. If you fall off track there is always tomorrow. Everyone has bad days, but the key is to leave them behind.

A Clean Slate

Remember that every meal and everyday is a clean slate. If you slip and make a bad choice don't throw it all out the window, start anew with the very next meal. Everyday is a fresh start! emoticon

Don't be Embarrassed or Jealous

With all of our stats here public, it's only natural to feel embarrassment when we stray or jealousy when others post huge weight losses. Everyone is different, and everyone is here to get fit and healthy! Keep it public, stay accountable, celebrate victories, and bolster others' spirits as well.
