I COOK IN LARGE BATCHES ON THE WEEK ENDS AND FREEZE IT . IT REALLY DOES HELP WHEN I A HURY DORING THE WEEK JUST POP IT I TH MICROWAVE AND THEN YOU ARE EATING MORE HEALTHY AND NOT GOING FOR BAD FOOD CHOICES! AND I CLEAN UP AS I GO ALONG THEN IT'S NOT SO BAD WHEN I AM DONE!
I have learnt so much from sparkpeople. I know what a lot of numbers mean w.r.t. my health: BMI, blood pressure, cholesterol, body fat %, etc. I know what ranges I need to be in so I do regular check.
Spark Friends having to cut way back on Spark Time due to LACK of time. I have learned to utilize the "feed" on each friend's Spark Page to quickly reply with "Like" and "Comment". I can quickly provide several replies and find where I left off on a previous day.
I finally figured out how to enter my personal recipes on the Nutrition Tracker. Now that they are on my Favorites list, all I have to do is click on it once and all of the numbers are entered for me. It makes it so much easier and gives a more accurate count of calories and nutrition .
I have developed the habit of making a comment when I read a blog or review my Friend Feed. I've found that by my focusing on what others write and responding to it I have stayed positive or regained a positive attitude if I'm losing some passion for my Spark journey.
