Leave the car at home.

I leave my car at home and walk everywhere. To The gym (4K) to the drug store (1.5K) to the grocery store (2K). It all adds up and save the environment as well.

STICK TO A LIST & keep a list on the fridge, add to it daily as supplies run out

How often do you get to the checkout and wonder how in the heck your grocery bill got so high? I keep an ongoing list on my refrigerator and add to it whenever we run out of something. Don't buy stuff just because it is on sale! STICK TO YOUR LIST! Your wallet & savings account will thank you!

coupons and ads

Print coupons from the internet and then match them to the ads. I make it easy and take my ads and coupons to walmart as they match all competitor ads and accept on line printed coupons

when you need a boost

every time I want to give up pack it in or get discouraged I know all I need to do is come to SparkPeople and go to my team and there are all my Spark Buddies to lift me up - motivate me to move forward and inspire me to never give up.

Sleep Deprivation

I do believe what SP says about having a good sleep. I feel that if we use positive messages before going to bed, meditate, etc., that your sleep will be better and kick start your plateau, stopping that hormone, cortisol, from keeping us from losing weight.

I've learnt so much from Sparkpeople and still going!

I have learnt so much from sparkpeople. I know what a lot of numbers mean w.r.t. my health: BMI, blood pressure, cholesterol, body fat %, etc. I know what ranges I need to be in so I do regular check.
I now know that cold does not cause Cold!
