I have learnt so much from sparkpeople. I know what a lot of numbers mean w.r.t. my health: BMI, blood pressure, cholesterol, body fat %, etc. I know what ranges I need to be in so I do regular check.
I love spark people. Thank You Spark People. I log in every day and record my nutrition, and fitness every day. If I didn't have such a neat place to do it, I am not sure if i would get it done. They do so much of the head work so there is not a reason for me not to do it. I love my Spark Tracker as it keeps track of my steps and calories i burn. I also love the way Spark Coach teaches me so many things. Love it.
I use the free tools that are offered by SP, such as the Nutrition Tracker, Fitness Tracker and Community and SparkPage blogs and other aspects of the site . I also use the Diabetic App which helps me a lot with carb and sugar control, blood glucose numbers, medications,water, weight exercise, etc, very helpful to me!
Using the tools that SP has to offer has made me KNOW I will succeed this time. I didn't realize how much I could actually eat when I pay attention to the nutrient labels and document my intake. I would litterly starve myself until I hit my goal. Then I would just go back to eating whatever and then wham, I was right back to where I started plus 10 lbs. I didn't change my lifestyle which would set me up for future failures. I'm eating better now, while loosing weight. USE THEM!
