Coffee!!!

Having a small cup (6-8 oz) of coffee with a tsp of sugar when I get hungry between meals or snacks helps me from over snacking. a cup with sugar is only 18 cals!!

Omit unhealthy carbs; sugar, bread pasta

To endure means to suffer patiently. To envision a better thinner body I endure by abstaining from temporary treats that taste good. Also if I'm hungry or craving there are many low carb healthy options.

Jin Shin Jyutsu for Weight Loss

I started Jin Shin Jyutsu, a Japanese form of hands-on healing, because I was fascinated by its effects on my mood and energy.
After two weeks of daily practice (10 minutes or so), I noticed I had lost around 3 kgs or so. This was when I started taking Jin Shin Jyutsu even more seriously. It can be a great help for almost any psychological and/or physical issue and is a beautiful art as well.

no more stir fry

One of the greatest tips for success. I love Asian food and stir fry adding all the ingredients together, veggies, meat, rice/noodles. Several years ago my dietitian suggested I start with vegetables first, salad or cooked and then go on to protein and carbs. It changed my way of eating and has become a habit for the lat 2 years. emoticon

A few of my weight loss tips.

Make peace with anything that you need to. Drink mostly water. get enough sleep. exercise in the morning an before breakfast burns more fat. bath as hot as you can stand it ( don't burn yourself) helps burn fat. tell your weekly weigh in to someone keeps you motivated/accountable. do mostly cardio. use some weights. use a tape measure track that way too. watch motivating videos often. get an exercise buddy. move to your favorite songs. don't deny yourself treats, but watch how often/portions.

Half portions..

When I first lost weight 5 years ago, I didn't know about Spark at first and had a lot to lose, so I ate the same things, but cut each portion I'd usually eat in half. It was an easy way to cut calories since I was eating way too much. I lost 50 pounds that year. After I'd started losing that way, I added in exercise and started making better food choices too. It all adds up.

It has to be special

if something isn't over the top fantastic, truly unique, i pass it up or i think to myself, i have had that before i know how it tastes. like pudding or even a candy bar i have had a bunch of times, i already know what it tastes like. but i will treat myself to a canoli at a festival. it has to be special...also eat lots of protien
